It's warm, but it's fun.

The fourth day of art camp contained an energy of "let's get it done" as students quickened their pace to finish all projects and creations for the final day. Teacher Ann took the kids outside for tie-dying, so tomorrow should be a crazy and colorful day as students wear their creations. It has been enjoyable getting to know the students from Madrid. All of us have picked up a new word or two as we made efforts to communicate through pantomime and slow speaking. Isn't it funny how when we speak to someone from a different culture we tend to speak louder and slower?

Once again we sent the children home with no injuries and contented smiles. The question ofthe day is: "how do you beat the heat?" Enjoy the images you see, and please feel free to leave a comment under any of the images, adding your insights or stories to what you remember of this experience. Look for more photos in days to come.
